DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for interns to be a part of our Alejandro Films family.

The program is available to current college students only who are committed to pursuing a career in the arts and/or entertainment industry. Our interns have good communication skills and great taste, they are adaptable and independent, and enjoy taking the initiative to get things done.

TERMS OF PROGRAM:

  • 4 month commitment with two-week probationary period

  • Opportunity to extend internship after 4 months

  • Expectation is to have set hours of approximately 10 to 20 hours a week (2 to 3 days a week), depending on your school schedule. We believe that your academics are your priority.

  • There are three options for your internship experience:

    1) In-person in our Santa Monica office (proof of vaccination required)

    2) Virtual (must be able to make meetings and deadlines in Pacific Standard time)

    3) Blended in-person and virtual

  • Must have a dependable computer and strong internet connection.

  • This is not on-the-job training, job shadowing, or a mentorship, but there will be LOTS of opportunities to ask questions and be a part of a new and exciting team.

    In return, the intern will have opportunities for:

  • The possibility of a PAID POSITION as a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT at the end if the internship is successful and if we go into production on a project...AND/OR

  • CREDITS for their academic studies...AND/OR

  • LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION or REFERENCES for jobs with our film/TV contacts

  • Involvement in TEAM MEETINGS.

  • TWO days of one-on-one training programmed around the needs of the job.You will be asked to create a list of what it is that you want to learn / questions you have.
